Yup, I tossed in my make-up folder which includes eyebrows and it locked up the game at the start screen. I can just start my YAs again in a new game. I wasn't playing my sims seriously as the base game wasn't that much fun and I had no desire to raise families.
I was going to start a fresh game anyway with the new EP, so I am not losing much.
I think I can live with the game until I replace my broken CC. I am guessing my replacement eyes don't work either. I will probably just replace them slowly over time. I am about to test eyebrows, which is known to have issues. My grass replacement works, and that makes me happy. I'm supposed to through each and every piece of cc and every mod to see which DOESN'T affect my game? Right. A patch has never affected my game so much. My game is completely unplayable right now.
